Organization

The LACPC is a participant-directed cooperative joint commission, interlocal agency and a non-profit corporation created specifically for shared contract creation and costs administration between Louisiana local political subdivisions as authorized by the Local Services Law.
​The LACPC is also a municipal, fire, law enforcement & public safety departments Group Purchase Organization under the provisions of Louisiana's Public Bid Law.

Administration

​The LACPC's operations are administered by the Louisiana Municipal Advisory and Technical Services Bureau, Inc. (LaMATS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Louisiana Municipal Association non-profit.
